Come May 31, you won’t have to sit in front of your computer to get close to your favourite YouTube star. YouTube FanFest rolls into Sydney’s Luna Park for one night this month, uniting international and local YouTubers under one roof. The unique fan event will see popular YouTube personalities perform solo and collaborative acts.With more than 13 million subscribers, Jenna Marbles‘ very first video, ‘How to Trick People Into Thinking You’re Good Looking’, has geared over 57 million views. Her consequent videos, ‘I Hate Being a Grown Up’ and ‘Things Girls Lie About‘ is still popular amongst YouTube watchers.Many international students live in or around the city because of the proximity to their colleges and universities, and that was where we decided to focus our efforts first.
